David Burapavong is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Inc. and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Burapavong's practice specializes in face and neck lift, laser eyelid surgery, laser skin rejuvenation for facial wrinkles, chemical face peel, nasal surgery, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, breast enlargement, liposuction, tummy tuck, removal of skin lesions and skin cancer, and hand surgery. He has been in private practice since 1977.

Office Hours To make an appointment, call our receptionist at 336-882-2531 between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Monday through Thursday) or 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (on Friday). We make every effort to stay on schedule. However, emergencies may arise which may have to be seen before routine visits. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you and we will notify you if there is significant delay. Fees and Insurance Cosmetic Surgery is payable in advance. We will file medicare cases, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, selected managed care plans, and authorized Workman's Compensation. Otherwise, payment is expected at the time of service. Accreditation

| Procedures Below is a list of some of the cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures available at our office. In properly selected patients, the Contour ThreadLift can be used to lift sagging eyebrows, adjust asymmetric brows, reposition sagging cheeks and jowls, lift drooping soft tissues of the mid and lower face, and smooth out premature skin aging. Droopy upper eyelids, baggy lower eyelids and saggy eyebrows can be corrected to brighten the face and restore a younger appearance. Excessively droopy upper eyelids which cause visual blockage may be eligible for insurance coverage. A visual field test in our office will determine the degree of visual blockage. If you have found that frown lines, forehead creases or crow's feet are preventing you from looking as good as you feel, cosmetic Botox injections may be a good option for you. Restylane Injection Restylane is an exciting injection procedure that can get rid of wrinkles and enhances areas of your face immediately. Some of those areas include the lips, superficial lines around the mouth, forehead lines, and smile lines. Nasal cosmetic and functional surgery is available to reshape and improve the nose in a number of ways. Nasal deformity post injury with breathing blockage may be eligible for insurance coverage. Sagging jowls, loose neck skin can be corrected by surgery. Excess fatty tissue under chin and neck can be removed by liposuction in conjunction with face and neck lift. Facial wrinkles and lines due to aging and sun damage can be removed with chemical face peel. Small breasts can be enlarged with saline filled implants. Breast lift is a surgical procedure used to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Weight-bearing pain in the breasts, shoulder, neck and back can be relieved by breast reduction to remove the excessive breast tissues. Most insurance policies will cover breast reduction. Post mastectomy defect can be reconstructed in a number of ways to restore the breast mound and reconstruction of the nipple-areolar complex. Most insurance policies will cover breast reconstruction. Liposuction was introduced to the United States in 1982. This procedure can remove localized collection of fatty tissues on several areas of the body. By using a high vacuum device, the surgeon can suction off fat on the legs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, face and neck. Skin Tumors and Skin Lesions Skin lesions can be removed by a number of ways. Pathological analysis of skin lesion is routinely carried out to rule out skin malignancy. There are different kinds of skin cancer. Any suspicious skin lesions with symptoms of itching, irritation, bleeding, scaling, and pigmented lesion with change of color or rapid growth should be removed. Scars due to acne or injury can be improved by a number of ways, such as surgical revision, dermabrasion, etc. We specialize in Dupuytren's contracture, congenital defects, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, hand tumors and hand injuries. Tattoo Removal Tattoo removal with the new Infrared Coagulator is available in our office. Additional Procedures These are just some of the procedures available.
